A light air Genoa cut down from a larger sail from a larger boat. Kingston Sail Loft worked with the customer on the LARGE Maple Leaf to have both sides line up
Kingston Sail Loft recut/cut down this reaching spinnaker from a 41 foot ex Canada Cup boat, for a Peterson 37. The customer loves the sail!
Before: A torn Waszp sail
After: The repaired Waszp sail
A 3Di trimaran Genoa torn where the spreader caught the leech of the sail
Sewing the patch to the sail
After: The repaired trimaran Genoa: We stuck on and sewed a very strong Aramid patch material
Before: This in-mast furling mainsail clew was hastily repaired while on a cruise. The webbing had deteriorated and the UV cover had multiple messy patches. Kingston Sail Loft was asked to "clean up" the repair
After: We redid the webbing and covered with new sections of Sunbrella. We prefer to place the UV cover over the webbing so the webbing and stitching are protected from UV damage
Before
Part way through repair. We replaced the leech tape so the leech line is enclosed and will then stitch down the UV cover.
Before: The spreader tip caught the leech of the Genoa
After: We repaired the leech and then put spreader patches on both sides so the spreader tip will not catch the leech again
