For cruisers, we offer a range of appropriate sailcloth, and UV covers in white or colours. Be prepared to answer questions so that we design and build the right sail for you and your boat. We’ll ask you where you sail, in what wind and sea conditions, and if you sail short-handed. Is the rig non-standard? What model furler do you have? Are you using a stack pack? Does the boom clear a bimini or dodger if fitted? Do we need to shorten the leech slightly on a new main? What would you like to differently from your current sails?

We will discuss with you alternatives for sail size, sail cloth, crosscut vs. triradial panels, reef points, battens, boom height, etc. We will want to know how you prioritize cost, longevity and performance, as that will help us recommend panel layouts and sailcloth.

We would prefer you bring in your existing sails so we can measure them, and confirm dimensions, so that our design matches your boat.
